Ann Wright Back is a third generation Okie - her great-grandfather made the 1889 Run into Oklahoma. Ann Wright Back grew up in Cushing, Oklahoma and Guadalajara, Mexico. Following her college graduation from Trinity University in San Antonio, Ms. Back traveled the world while employed with travel agencies in Kansas City, Missouri; Boulder, Colorado; and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Following her divorce in 1990, Ms. Back discovered the need for competent family law attorneys and decided to pursue a legal career.
Ann Wright Back graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 1995 – GO SOONERS!! Ms. Back is an Oklahoma Family Law attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma and the United States District Court of the Northern District of Oklahoma.
Ms. Back is a Certified Mediator through the Oklahoma Supreme Court Early Settlement Mediation program and is listed on the District Court of Tulsa County Family and Divorce Mediator List as a mediator with special training in domestic violence mediation.
The basis of Ms. Back's practice is to provide a voice for the party in a family disputes who has been victimized or disenfranchised. She knows that, despite the turmoil of family conflict, resolution of that conflict can be empowering. In her Oklahoma family law practice, Ms. Back strives to create a maturing and empowering experience for her clients as each bridges the chasm between conflict and resolution.
Ann Wright Back has been involved in several unique family law cases. She successfully represented one mother seeking support from her wasband for their adult disabled daughter. Another successful representation was Ms. Back's recovery of back child support from a father who illegally paid for child support with methamphetamine drugs.
The offices of Ann Wright Back are located in the Beacon Building at 406 South Boulder, Suite 400, Tulsa, Oklahoma74103. She is two blocks from the Tulsa County Courthouse and about 40 minutes from the courthouses of each surrounding county. Ann Wright Back realizes the high cost of legal representation. In select cases Ms. Back provides Financial Assistance by agreeing to a sliding scale fee linked to the client's income. To be considered for such Financial Assistance, the client must submit Legal Representation Financial Assistance Application with copies of pay stubs for the prior three months.
